For this weeks work I really enjoyed doing it. Because one of my things I love to do is baking and making food. So I really liked how this weeks is all about food Tech. For this weeks work we have been learning about all kinds of things what involves food. My favourite thing I did for this weeks work was probably doing my writing were I had to write down the recipe on how to make the rainbow pancakes.

ReplyDeleteKia ora Ella, what an informative blog description you have written! It's nice to hear how much you enjoy baking and making kai. You have used well thought out examples of why brushing elephants teeth is a good idea, adding that it might hurt to eat and they may starve was a good point. Your toothbrush design looks interesting, the wide head and long bristles are a good idea considering how big elephants are. Maybe next time label what each part is made out of and how it would be used. What a delicious looking array of chicken burgers! You have shown us two strategies to use to work out your multiplication array, '2+2+2=6 and 3x2=6 these are all great ways to work out 3 groups of 2 which is what your picture shows. Well done! I can see you have continued to use these strategies in the next maths slide, you are doing so well with all the maths practise. Your idea to create a bag out of plants is very original and creative. Straight away I thought how it looked like you would use weaving to make the shape, and how that would make it strong like a kete. Where would your bag be used? Maybe supermarkets could sell them? Can the bag be planted after you use it, to grow into a tree or shrub? The writing instructions are looking good, setting out each step using 'Step one, Step two...' is clear and easy to follow. Remember to use topic specific words like, "two straight lines near the top of the rocket". The watermelon head is bright and delicious looking! The avocado ears are a nice touch, they actually look like ears! Strawberry crown and blueberry eyes are beautifully done. Excellent mahi this week Ella, keep it up!
