I am a Year 5 student at Papakura Central School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room kahikatea and my teacher is Whaea Sharlee and Whaea Tamzin . This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
Well, I really don't want a disease! So it is good that lots of my food has some protection. I even package up my school lunch in my lunch box so it stays safe. But now I don't use glad wrap very much - I just containers that I can reuse. What about apples? They don't have any packaging. Do you think that I should be careful before I eat those? I don't really want the shops to put packaging on them because that would create a lot of rubbish. Keep up the great learning.
ReplyDeleteHi Ella,
ReplyDeleteI really wouldn't like to catch anything from food that wasn't packaged properly. You make a very good point! I do think that there needs to be more compostable or recyclable packaging for our food as the amount of plastic that we use is getting to be far too much.
