Innovation Mini Steam project 7

Kia Ora its me Ella here and I am very happy I have finished my work this early. The thing that I am most proud of is my writing and maths because I have been working on those two thing for most of the week for them to look amazing. I really enjoyed learning more about other games and more.

Question: If you would design a game would you do it online or in real life???

  1. Kia ora Ella, you are continuing to really push yourself and produce some excellent work. You identified the author's purpose when reading about whether Bullrush should be played at school. Also noting that the point of view was from the principals perspective. I agree that kids need to take risks to gain confidence in life and playing Bullrush could be something that helps them grow. Your hopscotch game made from leaves outside was very beautiful! You are so creative, keep exploring all these wonderful ideas you have in the future. Showing all the learning you participated in during the weekly clinics is set out clearly and shows you were engaged with the tasks. Excellent maths practise, you understand how to find fractions of set, e.g. 1/4 of 8 = 2. You also worked to find the whole amount when you were only given a fraction of the number. The maths game you created is a great way to practise different types of maths equations, it is something we should teach students next year. The equipment needed is easy to get and it offers a wide range of learning. Thank you for taking the time to create a board that would add another level of fun to your game, your digital skills are very good! Thank you for another fantastic week of learning Ella.
